Inspiring Session on Emerging Defense Technologies and Opportunities Organized by TrEST Satellite Centre- MBCET
TrEST Satellite Centre - Mar Baselios College of Engineering and Technology (MBCET) hosted an insightful session on “Emerging Defence Technologies and Its Opportunities”, delivered by Commander (Dr.) Jayakrishnan N. Nair (Retd), CEO & Founder of Defense Research and Studies (DRaS).
The session explored the role of AI, robotics, autonomous systems, and cyber defence in shaping the future of national security and innovation. With over 150 participants, the talk sparked strong interest in defence R&D and inspired students and researchers to explore opportunities in the sector. The programme concluded with an interactive Q&A session, reflecting the audience’s enthusiasm to contribute to the nation’s strategic and technological advancements.
