Launch of the TrEST–MBCET Satellite Centre
The TrEST–MBCET Satellite Centre’s Incubation Centre was officially launched at Mar Baselios College of Engineering and Technology (Autonomous), Thiruvananthapuram, marking a key step in advancing research excellence, technological innovation, and industry–academia collaboration.
The establishment of this new facility was made possible through the leadership of Rajasree M. S. (CEO, TrEST), Dr. S. Viswanatha Rao, Rev. Fr. John Varghese Palanilkunnathil, Fr. Dr. Koshy Issac Punnamoottil, Dr. Ushakumari S, dedicated faculty members, and the MBCET Management.
During the inauguration, Dawnell Industries Pvt. Ltd. was welcomed as the first company to begin operations at the centre, marking an important milestone in building a vibrant innovation ecosystem.
With more companies set to join, the Satellite Centre is poised to grow into a dynamic hub supporting technology development, entrepreneurship, and collaborative research.
