Visit of Dr. Somanath Sreedhara Panicker at TrEST Research Park
The visit of Dr. Somanath Sreedhara Panicker, Distinguished Scientist and former Chairman of Indian Space Research Organisation, marked a significant occasion for the TrEST Research Park community. A former Secretary of the Department of Space, Chairman of the Space Commission, Director of Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, and Chairman of TrEST Research Park, his visit reflected continued engagement with the institution’s growth and vision.
During the visit, he toured the upcoming DT Lab and reviewed ongoing progress, acknowledging key developmental milestones. The programme also featured a technical interaction with members of the TrEST ecosystem and startup leaders, including representatives from Netrasemi, Entuple E-Mobility Private Limited, Trizlabz, and other emerging ventures. Discussions focused on advanced engineering systems, semiconductor innovation, propulsion technologies, and the importance of strengthening indigenous research and development.
